IRAN, Pahlavis. Reza Shah, AH 1304-1320 / AD 1925-1941. 1/2 Pahlavi SH 1313 = 1934 (Gold, 20 mm, 4.06 g), Tehran. Uniformed bust of Reza Shah to left; above, inscription. Rev. Lion and sun (Pahlavi coat of arms) above denomination, all within wreath; below, date. Friedberg 96. KM 1132. Very rare, mintage of only 531 pieces. In NGC encapsulation, graded MS 64, the highest graded example. Struck from clashed dies and with minor spots of toning on the reverse, otherwise, good extremely fine.
